The lower front of Kong Miao Temple with a Kilin statue which tongue supports a book. Kilin is a mythical creature with the body of a deer, with the head and scales of a dragon, dark green in color, which is said to have appeared at the birth and death of Confucius (551 - 479 BC). Kong Hu Cu or Confucius is a prophet for followers of the Confucian belief.
A set of exquisitely carved wooden chairs is found at Kong Miao Temple, side by side with a Confucian statue. Its back support is engraved with a dragon and a Hong Bird (Phoenix). The two ends of the armrests are carved with a dragon's head, Garuda's head, as well as carvings on the four corners of the table. The carving work looks meticulous and smooth.
Bangunan utama Kelenteng Kong Mioa berbentuk segi empat yang disebut Da Cheng Dian, melambangkan manusia, ditopang 8 buah tiang naga dan 8 pilar utama. Di sebelah kanan gedung ada altar Tian Tan (Tuhan Yang Mahaesa) berbentuk bundar beratap susun tiga.
The main building of the Kong Mioa Temple is rectangular in shape called Da Cheng Dian, symbolizing man, supported by 8 dragon pillars and 8 main pillars. To the right of the building is the round Tian Tian (God Almighty) altar with a triple roof.
Tampak depan Qi Fu Dian (Klenteng Keberkahan) di kompleks Klenteng Kong Miao, dengan patung sepasang naga berebut mustika (Ji Liong Jio Cu) di atas atap depan. Sedangkan atap bagian belakang berhias sepasang suluran.
Front view of Qi Fu Dian (Blessing Temple) in the Kong Miao Temple complex, with a statue of a pair of dragons fighting over the precious (Ji Liong Jio Cu) on the front roof. While the rear roof is decorated with a pair of vines.
Above you can see the sky god hiolo flanked by a pair of dragons, and an octagonal roof with a dragon's head at each corner. Dragon pillars can be seen on the back left and right. Underneath it is Chinese inscription, and then the words "Kong Miao Temple, Confucian Religion Temple. The Kilin statue in front of it, the inauguration inscription signed by Situ Hardianti Rukmana on December 23, 2010, and an explanation of the Kilin creatures on the front wall.
A closer look at the detailed carvings on the chairs which are exquisite. The two chairs to the left of the armrests are carved with a dragon's head, while next to it is the head of a Garuda bird. The four legs of the table have the head of the Garuda bird also on it. I think this is a very extraordinary carving masterpiece. These chairs and tables seem to be used by high-ranking people in community worship events.
There is one large Confucian statue and two smaller ones. Artificial flowers in rattan baskets are placed on the left and right sides of the altar table. Confucian teachings besides emphasizing personal morality and government officials, are based on traditional Chinese traits. One of the words of Confucian wisdom was "extraordinary people are simple in speech, but great in action".
To the right of the writing reads "shi shu wan juan sheng xian xin".

View from corner of the main room of Kong Miao Temple which is spacious, with a pair of box-shaped lanterns hanging in the ceiling. On the right wall is a window with stained glass, as well as on its above, and a symmetrical wall on the left side of the room. Beneath the hiolo is a golden yellow embroidered cloth embroidered with Kilin flanked by a pair of dragons.
A small golden hiolo carved with a pair of dragons is placed in front of the Konghucu statue of Kong Miao Temple. The incense sticks that had burned out were stuck in the middle.
Another view on the corner of the Great Prophet Kong Zi / Kong Hu Cu (Da Cheng Dian) Temple, which is supported by 8 dragon pillars on the front and 8 red cylindrical main pillars on the right and left sides. The ornaments at the bottom of the gable look beautiful. Red lanterns hung along the porch ceiling.
A close look at the right end of the Temple of Blessing, shows a dragon statue on the top of the front roof, tendrils on the back roof, a terraced house ornament at the end of roof tiles, a lantern on the sky terrace, and a beautiful carving of a pair of dragons fighting over precious gem on a round air hole at the building wall.
In front of the door of Kong Miao Blessing Temple there's a Sky God' hiolo. Beneath the hiolo is a Confucian symbol in the form of a golden Spiritual Bell. The Spiritual Bell means the extension of life, and gold is a symbol of the sublime nature of the believer's human nature and an ambitious holy personality. A painting of a dragon appears on the left and right of the entrance. This Blessing Temple is oval in shape, symbolizing the earth or nature, and contains the altar of Shen Ming (Saints).
A view on the terrace of the Blessed Temple near the medium sized drum, but I did not find the bell. Bell and drum are usually always present in a temple, because they symbolize the power of Yin (drum) and Yang (bell).
There are six figures (statues) of Shen Ming in the room of Qi Fu Dian Kong Miao Temple. Each is two identical statues but large and small sizes. Shen Ming's level is still below the Prophet (Sheng Ren).
A closer look at the drum and carvings of a pair of dragons scrambling for the precious on the air hole. The carving of the dragon statue was made with beautiful details and colors that were of course made by highly skilled hands. In Chinese culture, dragons symbolize strength and luck controlling water, rain, and flood. The dragon is the (male) which complements the Fenghuang (Hong bird, phoenix) which is yin (female).
